Hi there lads,
now you have the place for you to upload your writing about a crime that you have witnessed or that you know about.
Remember this will be the topic for the writing in your next exam, which is 40% of your final mark this year. Because of this, I expect a good piece of writing.
As always, you can use the model in unit 5 as a guide, but try to be original with respect to the crime you are going to describe.

ReplyDeletePablo Montecarlo had been found killed the previous week in his house. The investigators inmediately started to search clues. At first Everybody thought the murderer that had been his wife. Later, the police discovered that Mr.Montecarlo´s real murderer hadn´t been his wife. In fact, his daughter was the really criminal.
When she knew the police was looking for her, she tried to escape to another country. Meanwhile, her mother was being interrogated and pocile officers were trying to make her tell them where her daughter was.
In the end, the daughter of the couple was found by british police when she was trying to get on her flight to U.S.A. After that, she was judge by the crime. Now she will stay in prison for fiveteen years. But, why? Why did she kill her father? The investigators found the answer. Her father had hired a hitman to kill her boyfriend the year before. Because he thought that her boyfriend was going to hurt his daughter. It seems that Pablo Montecarlo was wrong
A STOLEN HANDBAG IN FRANCE
ReplyDeleteSome months ago I went to France with my school. We stayed with french students and their families. There we visited some cities and interesting places.
One day we visited Aix-en-Provence and went for a walk by the city. When we were at the market we saw a man running along the street. He had stolen the handbag of a woman that was shouting and crying and had tried to pick the backpacks of two boys that were beside her with a group of a high school.
Some people tried to pursue him but they couldn`t reach him. He ran too fast.
Then the police came and helped the woman to make a police report. They told the woman that in touristic cities like Aix there were many pickpockets that used to wait at crowded places until they found the opportunity of picking someone's wallet.
After that we were very worried and took care of our belongings.
When we went to Nice one of my friends noticed that one person was trying to open her backpack, but as he was discovered fortunately he couldn´t take anything.
We all learned the lesson!
