As a letter addressed to the mayor of your village, town or city (real or imaginary), I am looking forward to reading your opinions about what should that area to become a better place to live in.
Remember you can approach the topic from issues like the environment (pollution, lack of green areas...), security (burglary, pickpocketers, kidnaping...), job opportunities, etc.
Also, bear in mind that you must not only list problems but also offer suggestions to solve them.
I am sure that if you take it as seriously as you take other social problems, you will do a great job.
Your enthusiasm together with your skills will create a great result.

Dear Madam,
ReplyDeleteI’m writing to let you know that young athletes in our town are complaining about the infrastructure of the running trails. The lack of variety force us to use the same pathes again and again, and most of the trails are in very bad conditions.
On the pathes there is a lot of litter and holes. If we don’t do anything, I’ve no doubt that the tourists and people who like to walk and hike in our green spaces won’t come back. I also think that there must be more places to practise sports in good condictions. If we fix the holes, the athletes won’t get injured. If the governament spent more money on better trails and maintenance, in this town there would be more motivated and active people who really enjoyed our landscape.

ReplyDeleteOn the most critical problems in our city are robberies. It is destroying our city, but i think that there are plenty of things we can do improve the situation.
If we had paid attention to the problem of robbereis, we would have told you before.
Yesterday it happened in our building that's why we wrote to you. They stole three floors at about three at the morning.
I speak to you on behalf of all theneighbors to solve this problem.
We need more security in our streets, to reduce the number of robbereis.
The situation is very serious beacause it endangerous our lives.
If we take action now, the city will be a nice place.

ReplyDeleteWe know that our small town is the best,but,both we know that there are a lot of problems in our town. I'm going to tell some problems that happend in our town
In my urbanization, there are a lot of abandonated cats, who enter in the houses and they destroy the plants or the forniture of the garden. If the owners of the cats didn't released the cats in our urbanitation, my neighbours would lived more relaxed. Other problem is the state of the main road,the principal road of our town. That road is full of potholes. If you talk with a road maintenance company, they will fix the road
There are small problems,but,the problems there are there. In summary,there are a lot of things to do in the town.
