What would you do if you started a new challenge for 30 days?

 My dear students,

After you watch the video I have just uploaded, I would love to hear from you on this blog again. I am curious to know what your challenge would be if you decided to start one now and for the next month.

All you have to do is write a second conditional. In fact, you must use the condition of the example and just complete it by adding the result part.

For instance:

If I started a 30-day challenge, I would read 20 pages of a novel every day before I go to sleep.

This is not only an example but a real challenge for me. What is your challenge?

Unit 5 Writing (Year 1 Bach, morning shift) (OBLIGATORY)

Hi there,

here you are the post for you to write your narrative following the example on page 70 and the instructions at the bottom of page 71 in green.

Remember that the topic we are dealing with is RELATIONSHIPS and that it must be the main issue to write about.

Also, do not forget the Time Expressions and Connectors of Sequence which you MUST use in order to make the order of events clearer for anyone reading it.

Since you will write about one or more relationships and the way they have changed through the years, you will have to use different verb tenses in the past as well as some others in the present and maybe some to predict what that relationship will be like in the future.

I am sure you will do a good job. I look forward to reading them all.

Bye for now!

Have your say about your city (Year 4 ESO)

As a letter addressed to the mayor of your village, town or city (real or imaginary), I am looking forward to reading your opinions about what should that area to become a better place to live in.

Remember you can approach the topic from issues like the environment (pollution, lack of green areas...), security (burglary, pickpocketers, kidnaping...), job opportunities, etc.
Also, bear in mind that you must not only list problems but also offer suggestions to solve them.

I am sure that if you take it as seriously as you take other social problems, you will do a great job.
Your enthusiasm together with your skills will create a great result.

See you all around.

Here you are Theresa May's letter to her fellow citizens

If you feel like doing some true and ultracurrent reading, here you are the link which enables you to access the real document that British Prime Minister Theresa May has written to her fellow British citizens.

This is really good practise of the use of 'will' for the future.

Post for my students in Bach semipresencial

Hi there!

Here you are the post for you to write a text describing a person. Remember you must describe this person's appearance (his or her looks) and also his or her personality including some of the adjectives that you have in your book.

As I said in the classroom, your writing must have between 80 and 120 words divided in different paragraphs.

I am sure that you will do a good job so I can't wait to read them.

See you next Monday!

Meeting point for students in Year 4 ESO at Proval and at Martaguisela

Hi there my dear students,

here you are the post for you to start uploading your comments and share information about you IN ENGLISH.

What about introducing yourselves to warm up? I would like you to include your name, age, the place where you live (a flat or a house), if you have any pets, your hobbies, favourite books and films...

This is just the beginning of this online exchange, so after you know each other you can start writing about different things.

I have thought that I wouldn't like many answers to the same person, so please don't leave any comments without an answer.

I look forward to seeing what you tell each other and I hope it works out very well.

See ya around!!! XXXXX

Writing task unit 10 for BA&F

Hi there,

here you are the place for you to write a composition about a business trip.

Remember you should take the one in the book as an example and then add some extra things.

In the exam you will have to use modal verbs so I think it is a good idea to include them in the one you upload here.

We will go over it on Monday.

See ya!

Writing Task for my students in Administration and Finance

Hello there!

First of all I would like to welcome you to my blog. As you can see, other students in this school and also from other schools where I have worked take part of this tool, my blog.

I created it some years ago in order to have a place where you could upload your writings, comment on the things I upload and mainly share experiences and ideas which arise when learning and practising English as a foreign language.

It is a pleasure for me to invite you to read, write, share and comment on anything you may find interesting. I just hope you enjoy your visits and be sure your ideas and suggestions are absolutely welcome.

I look forward to reading your first task: an email introducing yourself to the staff working in your new company. Remember there is a sample of it in your book.

New post for your descriptions

Hi again my dear students. I would like you to write your descriptions as a comment to this post, right?
By the way, be careful with verbs (some of you are still using is/are where you need to write the verb have/has got) and pay attention to the use of possessives (make sure you know the person is a he or a she before writing the possessive).

I´ll be waiting for your writings.

P.S. Those of you who have already written their descriptions in the other section do not need to write them again.
