This is for you all

Hi there, my dear students!

How is it going? Can I ask you to share a few lines with me and other students in Martaguisela?

If possible, I would like you to write a few words (no minimum and no limit) about this new experience we are living by staying home.

I look forward to reading about your feelings. However, if you prefer to tell me by mail, you are welcome to do so by sending your lines to nacho.noya@hotmail.com.

Also, I am open to suggestions as for activities we all can do to keep together during this time.

Read you soon!

  2. I am a little concerned with the whole subject of the exams, for the rest I do not take it too badly we have to stay at home for the good of all and it is the best. I hope we can leave soon.

  3. Álex, you needn't worry about exams now. Just keep learning, reading, writing summaries...of the material you have in order to be prepared for the end of the academic year. We, your teachers, know what we all are going through and so we will do our best to help you end the year in the best possible way. However, it is your duty to try not to waste your time by keeping updated. We will have to rush when we come back to school, so the more you will have done by that day, the better.

  4. I am also worried and the fact of not knowing what is going to happen and what I have to study has me a little stressed but I know that this will end soon and I try to take it with humor. Now more than ever when the path gets tough only the tough gets going

    1. Esther, don't worry about marks or anything, just keep doing and, as you say, everything will go back to routine. Hey, you've got time to draw, paint and do any artistic thing of yours.
Do anything but forget about being run over by a car, you sound a bit obsessed with that, hahaha

  5. I´m trying to catch up with all the subjects and learning as much as possible. Although I feel stressed out by all the homework that I should do, I´m spending time with my family and trying to bring out all the positive aspects of this situation.

    1. That sounds like a good attitude towards this situation. You are a hardworking person, so now try to divide your time between work and family.

  6. We have a lot of things to do these days. I´ve arranged everything so I don´t get stressed and I think I´m doing pretty well. Everything else is fine. My neighbors, after clapping, play music. I think it´s the best moment of the day.

    1. Astrid, your neighbours are my neighbours, and if they play that horrible music again, I will do something. Maybe I will grasp a loudspeaker and I will start singing in my loudest voice.

  7. Hello, these days I have had time to think and I have thought that I missed the institute but I think it is because I cannot leave the house, I have worried about the exams and knowing how the evaluation will be solved but removing all this I am fine.

    1. Mire, do you really mean what you say? miss the high school? Miss me? well, that last bit you did not say. Calm down! Use your time to review previous aspects of grammar that you do not usually have time to because of daily routine. This is a good opportunity!

  8. Well, it’s not a big deal for me, I’ve been training for this kind of situation 16 years lmao.
Now seriously, I gotta admit that this unsteadiness is really stressing me out. I mean, all those exams that we have missed will be a big problem indeed. We have no clue of how is this supposed to be solved, so it’s absolutely logical that we’re in this kind of stress or anxiety state, at least for my part. Anyways, getting anxious and stressing out won’t wash away the problem.
Also I’d like to highlight that, if we have to have all those tasks done when we return to classes (in the case that the quarantine truly finish next week, that I actually doubt) it’s almost impossible, in my opinion.

    1. Alex, forget about the exams now, the time will come to concern about that. Now, just keep working, learning, reviewing, reading, doing exercises...so that when we are back you are updated.

  9. For me it isn’t a big deal, I mean, I’m used to be at home so being bored or getting stressed isn’t a thing.
Actually, I’m not worried about what is going to happen, I’m doing my own stuff without feeling down, just chilling and studying.

    1. Martin, I am happy to hear that you are not stressed out. However, in your case, do not relax too much. I miss some ´studying, doing exercises, reading...´ in your list of stuff you are doing these days.
You know perfectly well what you have done so far and what you MUST do to get better results.

    1. Hi Laura,

as for exams, take it easy, nobody knows how we are going to do, not even us, teachers.
Just keep working, reading, doing exercises, summaries, diagrams, whatever that can help you do well when we are back to school.

      You can do it!!

  14. I thought that I would have more time to organize myself and carry everything well but I didn't notice the amount of homework that was going to come over me and now I don't have time to rest, to assimilate the stressful situation that I am living and to study the exams that we didn't do. So that's my situation now!!!

    1. Marta, this situation is new for everyone, teachers included. That might be the reason why maybe we have sent you too much homework all of a sudden. However, there is no need to be stressed.
You just have to spend some hours a day working, as if you were at school and everything will be fine.

However, eat properly, rest enough, find time to relax either alone or with your family and friends.

  15. This situation is new for me and for everyone. I'm a little stressed by the exams that we will have to do when we return to class and all the exercises we have to do right now. But what worries me the most is the situation in the whole world, I just want to return to normality and return to class even though before it was what I least wanted lol. After overcoming this situation I believe that my way of seeing the world will change. I honestly just want everything to go back to normal !!

    1. Belén, I absolutely agree with you. Nobody was prepared to cope with this situation. However, everything will go back to normal in few weeks.

Do not worry about exams and keep doing!

  16. Hello, everyone!

    First of all, RELAX!

I have just sent the principal of our school your view on the amount of homework teachers have sent you.

You do not have to do everything at once, just keep doing step by step. A good idea is to try to follow your school timetable and the same amount of hours of homework after lunch that you were used to before Coronavirus appeared in our lives.

Also, forget about exams for now and focus on learning and keeping updated with your subjects.

I know you can do it because I know how good you all are!

  17. The fact that you have to be at home is holding, but I think that when it comes to sending us homework, there should be a better organization, because there are many, there are times when you do not understand something, you start looking for how do it and in the end you have 20 more things to do, it is exhausting.
